Rancho Callado is located in ancestral Kumiai territory.  

For millennia, the Kumiai lived in harmony with nature. We seek to respect their legacy and ask all visitors to abstain from killing, damaging or collecting insects, animals and plants, and to limit auditory disturbances by keeping music and noise at a moderate level during the day, and at a low volume after 8pm. Motorcycles not allowed.
